摘要: Abstract Jinzhou Bay in Northern China has been seriously contaminated with metals due to the impacts of smelting activities. In this study, we investigated relationship between metal accumulation a deposit-feeding polychaete Neanthes japonica and concentration geochemical fractionation (Cd, Cu, Pb, Zn Ni) sediments Bay. Compared historical data, more mobile fraction (exchangeable carbonate fractions) were gradually partitioned into stable (Fe–Mn oxides) over time. Metal sediment significantly affected bioavailability polychaetes, except for Ni. polychaetes was influenced by Fe or Mn content, lesser degree organic matter. Prediction bioaccumulation greatly improved normalizing concentrations content sediment. The including exchangeable, matter Fe–Mn oxides important controlling polychaetes.
