摘要: Four methods were tested for extraction and recovery of six major ginsenosides (Rb1, Rb2, Rc, Rd, Re, Rg1) found in roots American ginseng (Panax quinquefolius): method A, sonication 100% methanol (MeOH) at room temperature (rt); B, 70% aqueous MeOH rt; C, water (90 degrees C) with gentle agitation; D, refluxing (60 MeOH. After 0.5-1 h, the samples filtered analyzed by high-performance liquid chromatography (HPLC)-UV. A second C D was done, but 85-90% obtained during first extraction. Lyophilization extracts did not influence ginsenoside recovery. Method resulted highest significant recoveries all ginsenosides, except Rg1. next most effective method, while lowest recoveries. B led to similar as C. All used one filtration step, omitted time-consuming cleanup, maintained clear peak resolution HPLC, can be quantitative screening from commercial preparations.
