摘要: The purpose of this study was to evaluate the feasibility gadolinium-enhanced dual energy CT pulmonary angiography (CTPA) detect embolism (PE) in rabbits. Dual performed on phantoms composed different dilution gadolinium and iodinated contrast agents, numbers were measured at tube voltages. Ten rabbits, which subdivided into two groups receiving 3 or 5 ml/kg based agent (n = 5 for each group), underwent baseline CTPA. arteries measured. following day, sponge gelatin injected femoral vein 6 rabbits create emboli. rabbit re-imaged 2 h after injection. Histopathology analysis lung lobes performed. sensitivity, specificity, positive predictive value (PPV), negative (NPV) calculated. Serum creatinine levels day 1 before media injection, 2 prior PE creation. animal showed that gadolinium-based 80 kVp higher than those 140 kVp average weighted 120 kVp. In CTPA bilateral artery emboli, reconstructed maps decreased perfusion corresponding lobes. With histopathology results as reference standards, Blood flow imaging (BFI) detected 14 lobes, 26, 24 without PE, respectively, sensitivities 100 100%, specificities 92%, respectively. level increased by 6.7 20.6% medium Histopathological found no significant tubular necrosis either dose. Gadolinium-enhanced is feasible it can simultaneously provide information a model PE.
