摘要: We found that the magnetic field at geosynchronous orbit started to change from dipole- tail-like configuration, i.e., plasmasheet thinning in evening sector six minutes after onset of development ionospheric convection as derived ground magnetometers, when IMF turned southward. The plasma observed by SuperDARN simultaneously, and completely changed its pattern four-cell two-cell thinning. was followed partial ring current (PRC) within a few minutes, which implies enhanced near-earth magnetotail. These results indicate electric magnetotail develops concurrently with large-scale ionosphere, suggesting possible role ionosphere driving
