摘要: Contrast-enhanced MRI (CE-MRI) of the breast has been investigated for over 10 years. The reports sensitivity cancer detection have generally greater than 90 %. However, estimates specificity varied greatly. Differing results are due to differences in study populations, technical methods and criteria interpretation. Early marked signal rise, detected using dynamic imaging technique following contrast administration, is hallmark cancer. some malignant lesions may enhance slowly or minimally, a variety benign rapidly with intensity. High resolution techniques requiring longer acquisition times more likely depict enhancing malignancies at cost decrease lack temporal resolution. This disadvantage be offset by improved visualization lesion morphology high images. report reviews leading investigators MRI.
