摘要: “Latency is a reversibly non-productive infection of cell by replication-competent virus” (Garcia-Blanco and Cullen 1991). Latently infected tissues contain virus that can be recovered cocultivation, viral DNA and, possibly, latency-associated transcripts (LATs) but in general no antigen. Alternatively, latency may defined as: “The continued presence host which infectious detected is, however, capable reactivation to produce (Wildy et al. 1982).
