摘要: Dopamine receptors belong to a large super-gene family of which are linked their signal transduction pathways through heterotrimeric G proteins. A variety signalling events known be regulated by dopamine including adenylate cyclase and phospholipase activities various ion channels. Prior the advent molecular cloning technology, were believed two subtypes, D1 D2. This distinction was based on both pharmacological functional criteria. We now know that at least five different exist although they can still described as belonging within "D1" "D2" subfamilies. The subfamily consists receptors-the D5, whereas D2, D3 D4 comprise D2 subfamily. characteristics these in this review.
