An Ant Colony Optimization Approach to the Minimum Tool Switching Instant Problem in Flexible Manufacturing System

摘要: Efficient tool management is very important for the productivity in flexible manufacturing systems. This paper proposes an ant colony approach to minimize number of switching instants systems first time. The proposed compared optimal results from literature, and promising are reported.
