摘要: Several plastid signals have been identified that regulate the transcription of nuclear genes for and non-plastid proteins. These are related to photosynthetic metabolism chloroplasts include porphyrins, reactive oxygen intermediates carotenoids. The metabolic developmental state chloroplast also control cell differentiation leaf morphogenesis, but signaling pathways not characterized. Plastid-to-nucleus light-signaling separable in some all cases. Retrograde thus plays a central role coordinating gene expression nucleus, mitochondrion, integrating cellular development.
