Effects of ultrasonic surface rolling processing and plasma nitriding on the fretting wear behavior of Inconel 690TT

摘要: Abstract Inconel 690TT has been applied to steam generator for transport tube, which fretting wear (FW) will cause serious damage on it. In this work, the ultrasonic surface rolling processing (USRP), plasma nitriding (PN) and combined with process (USRP+PN) are improving behavior of 690TT. The results show that a high fraction grain boundaries is induced after USRP. Compared untreated specimens, hardness specimen treated by USRP, PN USRP + increased 191%, 295% 348%, respectively. It can be attributed improve gradient nanostructure (GNS) layer, enhance changing chemical composition near top surface. After USRP+PN, volume decreased 72%, 86%, 96%, indicated resistance benign effect between processes arranged as USRP+PN > PN > USRP > untreated, provide potential way
