摘要: Abstract Alloy nanoparticles (NPs) of gold and palladium on ZrO2 support (Au–Pd@ZrO2) were found to be highly active in oxidation benzyl alcohols can used for the tandem synthesis imines from amines via a one-pot, two-step process at mild reaction conditions. The first step is alcohol benzaldehyde, excellent yields achieved after 7 h 40 °C without addition any base. In second step, aniline was introduced into system produced N-benzylideneaniline. benzaldehyde obtained completely consumed within 1 h. A range investigated general applicability Au–Pd alloy catalysts. It that performance catalysts depends metal contents composition. optimal catalyst 3.0 wt% Au–Pd@ZrO2 with Au:Pd molar ratio 1:1. NP exhibited superior catalytic properties pure AuNP or PdNP because surface NPs has higher charge heterogeneity than according simulation density function theory (DFT).
