摘要: Wearable sensing devices (WSDs) are increasingly helping workers stay safe and healthy in several industries. However, workers, especially the construction industry, have shown some aversion towards use of WSDs due to their ability capture specific information that may be considered personal private. this revered provide critical insight needed by management plan optimize worksite safety support technology adoption decision making. Therefore, there is a need develop personalized WSD systems mutually beneficial ensure successful integration. The present study aims contribute knowledge practice filling gap using from 330 with experience WSDs. results indicate all 11 functions identified through play vital role improving worker health approximately two out three open sharing physiological environmental captured these management. for detecting workers’ proximity workplace hazards, specifically energized electrical materials, toxic gas, fire/smoke, were most had mutual value Finally, proposed evaluated phased system should encourage
