摘要: A method for manipulating a tissue structure within body cavity provides retracting and supporting the heart wall to provide access into during cardiac surgical procedure. In one embodiment of present invention, tool support apparatus comprises base having an atraumatic tissue-engaging surface aperture receiving elongate tool. The also has clamp assembly aligned with spaced-apart from opposite surface. is particularly useful in maintaining force on used manipulate such as thoracic cavity.
