Breaking a modified substitution-diffusion image cipher based on chaotic standard and logistic maps

摘要: Recently, an image encryption scheme based on chaotic standard and logistic maps was proposed by Patidar et al. It later reported Rhouma that equivalent secret key can be reconstructed with only one known/chosen-plaintext the corresponding ciphertext. soon modified original claimed is secure against al.’s attack. In this paper, we point out still insecure same addition, some other security defects existing in both schemes are also reported.
