摘要: Despite restrictive legal frameworks, hunting for meat is a reality in tropical countries. In this policy paper, we argue that formal regulations are ill adapted to the contexts which they should be applied and characterized by gaps contradictions maintain sector limbo. We use contemporary examples from Latin America Africa described detail publications ranging 2015 2018, illustrate need reforms clarify rights sell surplus of align land tenure with wildlife suggest new definition subsistence accounts realities communities different cultural backgrounds.
