摘要: Abstract This paper examines the effect of attending flagship state university on earnings 28 to 33 year olds by combining confidential admissions records from a large with data collected through state's unemployment insurance program. To distinguish effects confounding factors correlated university's admission decision or applicant's enrollment decision, I exploit discontinuity in probability at cutoff. The results indicate that most selective causes be approximately 20% higher for white men.
