摘要: Winter squash fruits ( Cucurbita moschata D.) are among the best sources of vitamin A precursors and constitute bioactive components such as phenolic compounds flavonoids. Approximately 70% C. seed oil is made up unsaturated fatty acids, with high levels monounsaturated acids E carotenoids, which represent a promising nutritional aspect in production this vegetable. germplasm expresses genetic variability, especially Brazil. We assessed 91 accessions , from different regions Brazil, maintained at UFV Vegetable Germplasm Bank, to identify early-flowering carotenoids fruit pulp yields oil. Results showed that have variability number mass seeds per fruit, accumulated degree-days for flowering, total carotenoid content, productivity, allowed selection considerable gains these characteristics. Analysis correlation between characteristics provided information will assist improve crop. Cluster analysis resulted formation 16 groups, confirming accessions. Per se identified BGH-6749, BGH-5639, BGH-219 those earliest flowering. Accessions BGH-5455A BGH-5598A had highest averages greater than 170.00 μg g -1 fresh mass. With productivity 0.13 t ha BGH-5485A, BGH-4610A, BGH-5472A were most production. These last two corresponded higher averaging 0.58 0.54 respectively. This study confirms potential use breeding promotion earlier flowering increase content productivity.
