摘要: Random copolymers of poly(styrene-co-4-vinylpyridine) (S4VP) and poly (styrene-co-2-hydroxyethyl acrylate) (SHEA) different compositions were prepared characterized. An investigation the effects solvent densities interacting species incorporated within these showed that novel various hydrogen bonding interpolymer complexes structures elaborated when are mixed together. The specific interactions occurred SHEA evidenced by FTIR qualitatively from appearance a new band at 1604 cm -1 quantitatively using appropriate spectral curve fitting in carbonyl pyridine regions. intermolecular between hydroxyl groups nitrogen atom S4VP stronger than self-associations SHEA. In solid state, DSC analysis variation glass transition temperatures materials with composition behaved differently analyzed quantitatively. A thermal stability study synthesized their mixtures carried thermogravimetry confirmed similar behaviour.
