摘要: We examined effects of hyperthermia on cerebral metabolic rate for oxygen (CMRO2) and blood flow (CBF) in anesthetized, newborn pigs (2–5 days old). CBF CMRO2 were measured during normothermia (38 degrees C) induced by body heating (42 C). During normothermia, total was 32 +/- 3 ml.min-1.100 g-1 (n = 9), 1.34 0.08 ml O2.100 g-1.min-1 7). hyperthermia, increased 97 23% 65 24%. also whether resistance vessels responsive under these conditions. 63 6 g-1, 2.13 0.27 g-1.min-1. sustained intravenous injection 5 mg/kg indomethacin decreased 45 7% fell 55 10% 5). conclude that 1) increases CMRO2, 2) the dilated cerebrovascular bed still is to a constrictor stimulus.
