An Enhanced Fast Handover Scheme with Temporal Reuse of CoAs and PBP in IPv6-Based Mobile Networks

摘要: With the rapid development of wireless technologies, need to support moving hosts IPv6-based mobile networks in ubiquitous environment is growing. So demand for delay sensitive applications, such as multimedia stream, VoIP, that requires increasingly seamless handover. Various well-known approaches optimize handover latency have been proposed literature: MlPv6,FMIPv6,HMIPv6 and F-HMIPv6. However, these are inefficient delay, packet loss, out-of order problem, dependency exact predictive information, a sudden disruption link so on. In this paper, we propose an enhanced fast scheme with temporal reuse care addresses (CoAs) buffering point (PBP) networks. The proposal reduces latency, initiation time through CoAs tentative already proved unique by other node (MN) using DAD (duplicate address detection). It also solves loss out problem PBP which above router between previous access (pAR) new (nAR).
