摘要: Abstract : The report gives a summary of the investigations performed under general title, 'Embrittlement by Liquid Metals.' During period report, an earlier investigation effects second phases on susceptibility zinc-cadmium alloys to embrittlement liquid mercury at ambient temperature was continued. with intended elucidate roll phase in inhibiting matrix (zinc) mercury. In other studies, polycrystalline aluminum 2.5 w/o-zinc 5.3 w/O-magnesium containing varying thicknesses (0.04 0. 35 microns) denuded zones grain boundary were tested tension fracture 25C. addition, studies undertaken investigate chemical nature metal or solutions determining occurrence and severity given couple. These revealed that is related electronegativities participating solid metal.
