摘要: This paper presents a consultative model for providing behavioral supports within the context of public school setting to students with developmental disabilities who display challenging behaviors. The suggested is contraste4 traditional consultation in which consultant comes from outside immediate problem situation, provides support, and eventually withdraws problem. In model, there ongoing follow-along, direct provided by an transfers his skills over time team on-site professionals. Components this include: (1) identification targets objectives implementation; (2) determination roles functions members; (3) competencies required (4) provision inservice training on necessary knowledge base, emphasis functional assessment treatment integrity; (5) planning program evaluation; (6) follow-along.
