摘要: The formation mechanism of MoSi{sub 2} by self-propagating high-temperature synthesis (SHS) was studied quenching the reaction front into liquid nitrogen or in a copper block. microstructural analysis indicated that occurs via dissolution Mo Si melt followed precipitation. effects processing variables including particle size, preheating temperature, and diluent content on size were discussed, based proposed this study.
