摘要: There is mounting concern amongst policy makers regarding the economic, social and environmental impact of traffic growth, particularly in urban areas. As a result, many cities throughout world are currently considering introduction road pricing or tolling schemes, either to directly limit travel demand raise revenue finance appropriate capacity expansion. However, success such schemes depends on how travellers modify their behaviour response new charges and, date, practical experience responses limited. The purpose this paper present some initial results from an ongoing study which monitoring electronic toll ring Norwegian city Trondheim 1991. based diary surveys carried out one year before after ring. were panel design, involving re-interviewing same individuals, as enable assessment change at both aggregate disaggregate level. After short presentation background context scheme, concentrates describing changes have taken place commuting, shopping other journey categories. those (e.g. frequency, mode, trip length) most significance impact.
