摘要: Antimony(V) chloride acts as an efficient oxidant for the aromatization of 1,4-dihydropyridines in dichloromethane at room temperature. The products high purity were isolated after simple work-up high-excellent yield. Plausible non-typical two-electron transfer mechanism reaction was postulated to explain results obtained with 4-alkyl substituted 1,4-DHPs.
