摘要: [1] Understanding aerosol charging and atmospheric conductivity are necessary in describing the global electric circuit, coagulation rate, aerosol-cloud interaction their subsequent affect on climate. The importance of for variations lower Martian atmosphere during both day night is calculated. Galactic cosmic rays dominant ionizing agent atmosphere, producing molecular ions ion clusters. During nighttime these clusters get attached to aerosols occurs. Solar UV photons an additional day-time. Only solar energy less than 6 eV reach surface Mars as those with energies greater absorbed by molecules before they atmosphere. Those which do ionize ionization potential most produce electrons. Aerosols become charged attachment electrons ion-aerosol electron-aerosol coefficients, well ion-ion ion-electron recombination rates charge distribution obtained simultaneous solution balance equations. Both steady state time dependent concentration More 60% 95% aerosols. There more negatively due presence highly mobile increases time. day-time results compared results.
