摘要: Epibacterium mobile BBCC367 is a marine bacterium that common in coastal areas. It belongs to the Roseobacter clade, widespread group pelagic ecosystems. Species of clade are regularly used as models understand evolution and physiological adaptability generalist bacteria. E. comprises two chromosomes plasmids. We gel-free shotgun proteomics assess its protein expression under 16 different conditions, including stress factors such elevated temperature, nutrient limitation, high metal concentration, UVB exposure. Comparison conditions allowed us not only retrieve almost 70% predicted proteins, but also define three main assemblages: 584 essential core 2,144 facultative accessory proteins 355 specific unique proteins. While proteome mainly exhibited involved functions sustain life DNA, amino acids, carbohydrates, cofactors, vitamins lipids metabolisms, proteomes revealed more adaptation with stress-related DNA repair (accessory proteome), transcription regulators significant predominance transporters (unique proteome). Our study provides insights into how adapts environmental changes copes diverse stresses.
