Total surface energy and equilibrium shapes: Exact results for the d = 2 Ising crystal

摘要: Explicit relations between the surface tension (interfacial energy density), equilibrium shape of a crystal, and total are given. For $d=2$ Ising model with anisotropic couplings, exact is cast into closed form elementary functions. The compared Monte Carlo simulations. A discussion solid-on-solid approximation presented.
