摘要: The present study provides a theoretical framework for the inhomogeneous deformation in metallic glasses. free volume concentration is adopted as order parameter, which function of position and time. three processes that can change local are diffusion, annihilation, stress-driven creation. rate functions generation plastic flow depend on underlying microscopic model, but generally valid different models. A simple shear problem solved an example. linear stability analysis performed basis homogeneous solution. An solution obtained with finite amplitude disturbance to initial distribution. Numerical simulation shows development strain localization.
