摘要: This study examines naturalistic speech produced by 15 Italian middleclass mothers to determine which specific patterns of noun and verb use characterize linguistic input children in their second year life. The aim is verify if maternal nouns verbs changes as a function context (“toy play” “meal”) child’s age (16 20 months). Since PRO-DROP language, we expect that mother-to-child will show bias towards more salient semantic morphological significance relative nouns. Moreover, likely occupy the sentence-initial position, have inflections Mother-to-child was coded for type token frequency, utterance variation verbs. results confirm our predictions since emphasis pattern found both contexts at each considered. Namely, Italian-speaking types tokens frequently than tokens, they placed initial final morphologically marked stems stems.
