摘要: Title. The psychosocial impact of recurrence on cancer survivors and family members: a narrative review. Aim.  This paper is report review undertaken to identify, critically analyse synthesize the experience for members. Background.  Recurrence an event after which life changes families. Individuals move from being short- or long-term patients once more. Families state fear one uncertainty distress as result new crisis. Data sources.  MEDLINE, CINAHL CancerLit databases were searched period January 1980–2007. Reference lists papers conducted relevant studies. The search terms recurrence, recurrent cancer, experience, survivor separately in combination. Review methods.  A was conducted. Data categorized issues during survivorship concerns recurrence. Results.  Three main categories identified that explained survivors' families' experiences cancer: (1) survivorship, (2) when recurs: families facing challenges (3) because recurrence. Conclusion.  distressing they have face again effects such uncertainty, about death. Care should not be addressed simply survivors, but include general well-being beyond their support manage better occurring member has cancer.
