摘要: Several diseases caused by viruses, bacteria and fungi affect plant crops, resulting in losses decreasing the quality safety of agricultural products. Plant disease control relies mainly on chemical pesticides that are currently subject to strong restrictions regulatory requirements. Antimicrobial peptides interesting compounds health because there is a need for new products protection fit into regulations. Living organisms secrete wide range antimicrobial produced through ribosomal (defensins small bacteriocins) or non-ribosomal synthesis (peptaibols, cyclopeptides pseudopeptides). basis design synthetic analogues, have been expressed transgenic plants confer secreted microorganisms active ingredients commercial biopesticides.
