摘要: Abstract A comparative study on the electrochemical and photoelectrochemical behavior of SnS thin-film electrode in acidic media was carried out to investigate SnS-electrolyte interface reactions. The cycling voltammetry examinations were performed characterize oxidation reduction reactions during decomposition layer a background solution 0.1 M H 2 SO 4 . It observed presence passivating oxide-hydroxide layers surface films studied dynamics its formation. corresponding discussed details compared with state-of-the-art similar researches. Photoelectrochemical measurements show that decrease photoactivity is caused mainly by tin hydroxide ultra-thin formation surface. On other hand, after photoactyvity increase e.g. at +1200 mV vs. SCE forms SnO increases almost times. In this paper, special attention paid modification photoabsorber treatment.
