Sorption of spruce O-acetylated galactoglucomannans onto different pulp fibres

摘要: Sorption of spruce acetylated galactoglucomannans (GGM) onto different pulps, among which unbleached and peroxide-bleached mechanical bleached kraft (BK) was studied as a means understanding the retention GGMs in pulping papermaking. The fibre surface coverage lignin carbohydrates estimated by X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy (XPS) or electron for chemical analysis (ESCA). GGM sorption clearly favoured on pulps. Hardly any differences were, however, observed between BK even if lower pulp. Neither thermomechanical pulp (TMP) nor chemithermomechanical (CTMP) manufactured from sorbed GGMs. Peroxide bleaching did not increase sorption. Only CTMP produced aspen some anionic charge neither pulps influenced
