摘要: Riparian forests (RF) provide shelter, feeding resources and commuting areas are fundamental for local fauna during long drought periods in tropical dry forests. Nevertheless, information regarding vertebrate ecology RF is scarce. The studies of bats riparian habitats have been mostly focused on insectivorous assemblages non-tropical regions. We contrasted the occurrence frugivorous between upland forest (UDF) a Neotropical region evaluated how vegetation structure modulates bat presence abundance. sampled ensembles three UDF sites Jalisco, Mexico. Bat populations were analysed with generalized linear models, including as independent factors: (1) habitat (2) attributes. In 72 nights we captured 840 belonging to seven species. No effect type or species richness was found, but did affect composition Moreover, structural traits affected Frugivore abundance higher than probably because provides greater more roosting sites. also present canopy cover accessible flight spaces. Our results support importance terms composition. Additionally, lack differences highlights both maintaining bats, well related ecosystem processes services landscapes.
