摘要: Few microsatellite loci exist for the European common lizard, Zootoca vivipara, a model species in studies of population dynamics, sexual selection, genetics, parity evolution, and physiology. The existing primers did not amplify all lineages, multiplexes were optimized. A total 34 new polymorphic markers have been developed this tested 64 specimens belonging to oviparous viviparous clades (B D). microsatellites combined into seven different multiplexes. Results showed that but one successfully amplified samples both clades. number alleles detected per locus ranged 7–22 effective 1.58–7.82. observed heterozygosity 0.312–0.930, showing highly variable. Oviparous exhibited significant genetic differences (in FST). In addition these markers, previously published widely used multiplexed These innovations will allow timesaving robust analyses boosting evolutionary easing paternity
