摘要: The dynamic behaviour of a structure changes when it is subject to damage such as cracking. Recently research has been directed at employing conventional Modal Analysis techniques investigate this change in simple structures and study the dependency on location size crack. use modeshapes characterise would require several accelerometers spaced across structure. As described article, technique developed making Wavelet Transform which can be applied detect presence crack using measurement from single accelerometer strategically located method proved mow sensitive detecting relatively small cracks than that attempt shift resonant frrquencies measrxed Frequency Response Function identify damage. undertaken by simulating cracked cantilever beam finite element model provide data for analysis. In case stiffness matrix, affected crack, derived integration stress intensit,y fact.ors. t,akes into account effect opening closing.
