摘要: The field of signal processing has developed dramatically over the last several decades owing to applications in such diverse fileds as speech, image, and video communication, biomedical engineering, acoustics, consumer electronics, many others. Discrete sinusoidal transforms discrete cosine transform (DCT), sine (DST), Hartley (DHT), Fourier (DFT), Lopped Orthogonal Transform (LOT), Complex Lapped (CLT) are powerful tools processing. Due advances ISDN network high definition television (HDTV) technology, real-time image signals become very desirable. Clearly computational rates required HDTV systems cannot be achieved by general-purpose parallel computers because severe system overheads. only way meet is developing special-purpose architectures which exploit regularity, recursiveness, locality algorithms. We focus on real time VLSI algorithms for applications.
