摘要: Abstract: Drinking water quality in the United States (US) is among safest world. However, many residents, often rural areas, rely on unregulated private wells or small municipal utilities for needs. These may violate Safe Water Act contaminant guidelines, because they lack required financial resources. Residents use alternative sources install a home treatment system. Despite increased adoption, few studies have examined their and effectiveness US. Our study addresses this knowledge gap by examining Arizona community. samples were analyzed metal(loid)s, demographic data recorded 31 homes. Approximately 42% of homes treated water. Independent source quality, residents with higher income (Odds Ratio [OR] = 1.25; 95% Confidence Interval [CI] (1.00–1.64)) education levels (OR 1.49; 95%CI (1.12–2.12)) more likely to treat
