摘要: Abstract High-speed railways have recently conquered market shares that were previously only covered by air transport, at daily distances up to 600–800 km, or cars, for journeys of 100–150 km, mainly thanks the much higher speeds been reached high-speed trains since late Nineties. However, in recent years, relevance dependence transport sector on black-oil and consequent emissions drawn attention importance energy efficiency as a significant parameter compare alternative modes more complete way than travel time distance . This paper has purpose of: – quantifying comparing specific consumption with rail transport; determining ranges which operating, sometimes also investing, one these two would be convenient from usage viewpoint an perspective; where there is still notable competition between modes. The comparative analysis carried out taking into account original data assessments linked consumption, but it considered important investigate several other factors, such price electricity compared kerosene. It possible, through use simulation different tools , evaluate order modal alternatives; rather outcomes obtained. Owing presence number variables can play role study high speed further analyses are envisaged. present work represents first, fundamental step towards obtaining vision problem.
