Combined use of ultrasound and nuclear medicine techniques in kidney disease

摘要: Combined ultrasound and nuclear medicine procedures in the evaluation of urinary-tract disease are essentially limited to kidneys. They useful patients with masses, renal failure, unilateral nonfunctioning kidney, trauma, transplants. In our experience combined use these techniques has increased diagnostic accuracy many cases obviated need for more complex associated higher radiation doses. This is an especially important factor children adults childbearing age group. We have achieved success modalities because constant communication between referring physicians divisions.
