摘要: Abstract Ethanediamine was used to modify the mineral surface of malachite improve its sulfidization and flotation behavior. The activation mechanism investigated by adsorption experiments, X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy (XPS) analysis, zeta potential measurements. Microflotation experiments showed that recovery enhanced after pretreatment particles with ethanediamine prior addition Na2S. Adsorption tests revealed numerous sulfide ion species in pulp solution were transferred onto through formation more copper species. This finding confirmed results XPS modification not only increased contents on but also reactivity products. During sulfidization, Cu(II) reduced into Cu(I) species, percentages S22− Sn2− relative total S modification, resulting hydrophobicity. measurements ethanediamine-modified adsorbed advantageous attachment xanthate thereby improving floatability. proposed followed exhibits for industrial application.
