Introduction--the validity of self-reported drug use: improving the accuracy of survey estimates.

摘要: Measuring levels and patterns of illicit drug use, their correlates, related behaviors requires the use self-report methods. However, validity self-reported data on sensitive highly stigmatized such as has been questioned. The goal this monograph is to review current cutting-edge research describe methodological advances designed reduce total error in estimates quantify sources nonsampling error. This reviews a number studies that some presumably more accurate measure validate use.
