摘要: Resume Il est maintenant bien etabli qu'une antibiotherapie precoce, adaptee au(x) micro-organisme(s) en cause un facteur favorable pour le pronostic des infections severes reanimation. En revanche, peu d'etudes cliniques ont evalue la duree du traitement qui donc souvent fondee sur l'experience et les avis d'experts. dehors de quelques situations particulieres liees au micro-organisme, a l'existence d'une immunodepression ou d'un foyer non correctement draine, antibiotiques permettent generalement une decroissance bacterienne rapide. La guerison conjointement assuree par defenses immunitaires. Aussi, l'administration prolongee n'est-elle pas plus justifiee conduit contraire majorer pression selection.
