摘要: A new method was developed to synthesize high active TiO2 nanocrystals by the hydrolysis of titanium (IV) chloride in water at 40-80°C, employing nanocrystal cellulose (NCC) as morphology controlling agent. The obtained samples were characterized with transmission electron microscopy (TEM), X-ray diffraction (XRD), and ultraviolet-visible spectrophotometer. TEM investigations revealed that crystals synthesized 40-60°C flower-like which composed nanoneedles, when temperature rose up 70-80°C, cubic an edge length 100-200 nm observed. XRD results showed crystalline phase had a strong dependence on aging time, content rutile increased increasing either or time. photocatalytic activities tested degradation methyl orange aqueous solution under pressure mercury lamp. experimental much higher photoactivity than ones.
