Pleural involvement in the carcinoid syndrome

摘要: Tissue fibrosis is a recognized complication of the carcinoid syndrome but pleural changes have not been described. Prompted by finding severe thickening in two patients with metastatic no thoracic metastases or previous disease we reviewed chest radiographs and CT scans 50 investigated from 1981 to 1990.
