摘要: Streptomyces are among the most promising genera in terms of production ability to biosynthesize a variety bioactive secondary metabolites with pharmaceutical interest. Coinciding increase genomic sequencing these bacteria, mining their genomes for biosynthetic gene clusters (BGCs) has become routine component natural product discovery. Herein, we describe isolation and characterization tendae VITAKN quorum sensing inhibitory (QSI) activity that was isolated from southern coastal part India. The nearly complete genome consists 8,621,231bp GC content 72.2%. Sequence similarity networks BGCs detected this strain against Minimum Information about Biosynthetic Gene Cluster (MIBiG) database 3365 predicted by antiSMASH analysis publicly available were generated through BiG-SCAPE-CORASON platform evaluate its novelty. Crude extract using high-performance liquid chromatography connected high resolution tandem mass spectrometry (HPLC-HRMS/MS) dereplication Global Natural Product Social Molecular Networking (GNPS) online workflow resulted identification cyclic dipeptides (2, 5-diketopiperazines, DKPs) extract, which known possess QSI activity. Our results highlight potential coupled LC-HRMS/MS silico tools as valid approach discovery novel lead compounds. This study also provides diversity an assessment chemical space yet be discovered.
