Towards a CEN Standard on food data

摘要: A major goal of the European Food Information Resource (EuroFIR) Network Excellence is to provide tools overcome existing differences among member states and parties with respect documentation interchange food composition data. Establishment a common CEN (Comite Europeen de Normalisation/European Committee for Standardization) Standard on data was regarded as an important goal, enabling unambiguous identification description its quality in databases, dissemination interchange. In 2008, Project Data (CEN/TC387) established following preparatory work by national Swedish technical committee involving stakeholders representing EuroFIR partner (National Administration), sector consumers. TC387 led Standards Institute. Nine standardisation organisations are project members, four other being observers. During 2009, so-called working draft standard prepared basis specifications, & Beverage extension GS1 GDSN (Global Synchronisation Network) Trade Item specifications input from various delegations. This formed enquiry that submitted early 2010. final, ratified expected be published 2012. The establishment milestone Excellence. Liaison initiative beverage articles will enhance coverage uptake future Standard, thus promoting access well-documented information.
