摘要: A dayside magnetopause model is presented as an alternative to the well-known Roelof and Sibeck model. Model parameters are same: solar wind dynamic pressure B Z-component of interplanetary magnetic field. The main differences features larger statistics wider effective range different method data treatment. first due geosynchronous satellite crossings added basic on highapogee crossing. second based a physical approach analysis data. An asymmetric shape during disturbed condition balance change manner strong negative Z were derived from geosynhronous analysis.
