摘要: High-resolution peripheral quantitative computed tomography (HR-pQCT) is a promising in vivo imaging technique that can be used to assess the three-dimensional microstructure of radius and tibia. Micro finite element models also constructed from these images estimate mechanical competence sites, giving this potential clinical diagnosis osteoporosis. However, properties sites may not predictive at central sites. Image-based analysis was performed on sixty-nine premenopausal women, 12 with idiopathic osteoporosis 57 normal controls, who underwent HR-pQCT scans distal tibia proximal femur lumbar spine. Significant correlations were found between stiffness two (r=0.86), (r=0.49) skeletal (r=0.56–0.70).
